However, due the advancement of technology, steel sheets can now be made water resistant. If that is not done with the use of chemicals, then the sheets of steel can be coated with water resistant paint.

The only maintenance that is required is the scraping off of moss and fungus from the exteriors of the buildings and coating the walls with protective layers once every year. These buildings are almost like a one-time investment.
